Your current choices
Optional storage starts off. The site works when you choose Essential only. You can allow theme preferences, refuse them or revisit your decision through . Closing the settings without saving does not grant permission.
The current website has no installed analytics or advertising integrations. Those categories are shown as not in use, rather than asking you to accept imaginary tracking.
Storage inventory
| Name | Purpose and location | Duration | Choice |
|---|---|---|---|
| aurora-consent-v1 | First-party localStorage: version, decision time, expiry and category choices; no name, email or visitor ID | Up to 180 days; replaced when you save a new choice | Essential record of your choice |
| aurora-theme | First-party sessionStorage: selected website theme | Current tab session | Only after preferences opt-in; removed on withdrawal |
| PHPSESSID | First-party security session, path /api/, Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict; used when the prepared enquiry endpoint is requested | Session cookie; enquiry token validity up to 30 minutes | Necessary for that endpoint, not created by normal static browsing |
These are application-level storage observations, not a guarantee about every hosting-layer cookie. Provider-level behaviour must be rechecked at launch. LocalStorage is not an HTTP cookie, but is included here so the explanation covers browser storage clearly.
What is not loaded
This release does not load analytics, advertising pixels, third-party font services, embedded Maps or social-media widgets. External destinations open only when you follow their links. Clicking an external service does not mean its storage is controlled by Aurora’s consent panel.
Future optional tools must be inventoried, covered by an updated notice and connected to the consent gate before loading. Simply displaying this panel cannot block an unrelated script added elsewhere.
Change or withdraw a choice
Use Cookie settings and choose Essential only or turn preferences off and save. The stored theme is removed. You can also delete site data using browser settings. When a decision expires or the policy version changes, optional use stays off and a new choice is requested. If browser storage is blocked, the component uses your choice for the current page only and explains that it cannot remember it.
Your preference is stored in this browser only. It is not synced across devices and is not a central consent register or a registered DPDP Consent Manager service.
